The Sycamore Gap

An original painting of the Sycamore tree famous for being situated next to Hadrian's Wall, better know as Sycamore Gap. The tree was also featured in Robin Hood, Prince of Thieves film featuring Kevin Costner.

This paining is a tribute to the tree that was deliberately and cruelly felled in September 2023. This heartbreaking event touched a lot of peoples heart and it will be missed greatly. 

The original watercolour painting is one of a kind, size 4.1 x 5.8 inches, and will be signed on the front and the back. It is painted with high quality watercolour paints, on 300gsm handmade rag paper with deckled edges. Handle carefully and only by the edges.
